How to Join Winter Soccer at MVFC

  • 1. Register Online

    All players (junior, youth, and senior) must register via PlayFootball.com.au.

  • 2. Attend Pre-Season Info Sessions

    Men and women aged 16+ who are interested in registering in the Youth and Senior competitions are invited to attend training at the Church Road playing fields and get more information.

  • 3. Attend Training

    Men’s Training – Wednesdays, 6:30pm @ Church Rd Playing Fields

    Women’s Training – Thursdays, 6:30pm @ Church Rd Playing Fields

    Juniors – Coaches will confirm days and times with their teams.

Winter Soccer FAQs

  • Registrations need to be made via Football NSW’s PlayFootball platform.

    Our 2026 registration links are as follows:

    Midweek Competition registrations will be opening very soon — watch this space! The 2026 Midweek Competition will be structured the same as last year.

  • A player’s registration fee is based on the age they turn in the current calendar year.

    For example, if you turn 11 during 2026 you pay the U11 fee.

    Payment by credit card is required when you register online.

  • The Club registration fee covers the fundamental costs to field players & teams in local & matches under FFA & FNSW affiliation.

    The total Club registration fee is inclusive of referee fees, equipment use, playing shirt use, field set up, end of season awards, maintenance of equipment & facilities & some coach development costs.

  • Players must turn at least 5 in 2026 to be eligible to play.

    U6-U11 will be playing non-competitive small sided games.

    The season will commence in early April and go through to September.  All games are played on Saturday morning.  Games are played within the shire, as far north as Hill Top/Yerrinbool, as far east as Robertson, and as far south as Bundanoon.

    Training takes place during the week at the Church Road Soccer Fields, usually from Tuesday to Friday depending on the coach for the team and what time suits them, as they are all volunteers.  They will contact you once the teams are decided in early-mid March.

  • The final composition of ALL teams, both junior and senior, is determined by the Junior and Senior Development Officers.

    Any special requests received will be taken into consideration.

  • Training takes place during the week at the Church Road Soccer Fields. Your Team Coach will inform you which field you are playing on.

    Please ensure that you arrive on time out of respect for your coach and your team members.

  • You do need to ensure that your child has the following items:

    • MVFC shorts

    • Moss Vale FC Socks

    • Shin Pads

    • Soccer Boots

    We have a free boot and clothing pool that we encourage families to utilise for boots and uniform items.

    Players are provided with a team jersey to wear on game day. This is to be returned at season end.
