Moss Vale Football Club - Proudly in the Southern Highlands

Where community, passion, and tradition come together on and off the field.

About Us

  • Soccer Ball

    Our Mission

At MVFC, we're more than just a football club—we’re a passionate community united by the love of the game.

Our Club objective is to encourage sporting attitudes in members and to develop the skills of players to enhance their enjoyment of soccer.

  • Moss Vale Football Club Logo

    A Proud History

Founded in 1983 at our beloved home ground on Church Road, Moss Vale Football Club (formerly Moss Vale Soccer Club) has grown from humble beginnings into one of the Highlands’ most iconic football clubs. Our club logo proudly reflects the legacy of our founding members and their Scottish roots, with the red and white candy stripes—first introduced in 1983, and still woven into the fabric of our identity today.

Over the decades, we’ve celebrated countless achievements across Men’s, Women’s, and Junior leagues, earning premierships, cups, and the respect of the wider football community.

  • Club changer Certificate of Achievement

    A Strong Present

As a proud member of the Highland’s Soccer Association, and awarded a 2 Star Club Changer Certificate from Football Australia, our Division 1 Women’s team now competes beyond the Highlands in the South Coast competition, a testament to the talent and determination nurtured within our club.

In 2021, we entered a new chapter with the opening of our state-of-the-art clubhouse and field facilities—ushering in a new era for football in the district.

Club Charter – Five Pillars

The 5 Pillars are designed to be the foundations of our club, the guidelines by which we all come together with one purpose, to enjoy the wonderful game of football. They are also the standards to which all players, members and visitors to our club will be held. Whilst this is not the hope or intention, non adherence to this charter will be assessed, and may result in disciplinary measures as deemed necessary, by the board.

How We Communicate

Underpinning the 5 Pillars of the Club Charter is the communication from, and to, the club:

  • MVFC is to continually communicate, clarify and re-enforce the expectations of these 5 PILLARS to its members.

  • MVFC is to provide Respectful, Supportive, Regular and Up to Date Communication to its Members.

  • MVFC aims to create transparency through Open, Honest Communication of key details and meeting minutes.

  • MVFC aims to continue and develop multimodal forms of communication between the club, it’s members and the wider community.

  • This may include Social Media (Facebook & Instagram), Newsletters and the MVFC website.

  • All members are welcome to join the committee or come along to meetings to voice any concerns and to hear about what it takes to run a club.
