Team Manager Requirements
The nominated Team Manager is responsible for coordinating their team throughout the Summer Soccer season and acting as the main point of contact between the team and Moss Vale Football Club.
Team Managers are required to:
Coordinate communication with players and parents.
Ensure all players complete their registration once the team is approved and the Dribl team code is provided.
Manage the team’s electronic team sheet and relevant match-day requirements through Dribl.
Communicate fixtures, updates and important information to team members.
Ensure the team follows all MVFC Summer Soccer Competition Rules and match-day requirements.
Promote positive behaviour, respect and good sportsmanship.
Report any incidents, injuries or concerns to the Club.
Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) where the team includes players under 18 years of age.
For junior teams, comply with all applicable Football NSW and MVFC child-safeguarding requirements. Apply for a WWCC here.
The Team Manager does not need to be the coach, but should be an organised and reliable person who is willing to coordinate the team and communicate with the Club throughout the season.
-
You may register for two separate teams in separate competitions only, not separate divisions
Junior Girls for example can play in a girls team on Tuesday afternoon and a mixed team on Wednesday
Seniors can play in a Over Age Competition as well as a Division 1 - 7 Competition. However, players may only register for a maximum of two (2) teams per competition night.

Please ensure that you arrive on time.
-
Every effort should be made by teams to field a team each week
In the event that a team cannot field the minimum number of players, they may forfeit. Team Managers must submit a forfeit request through Dribl.
3 competition points will be awarded to the opposing team.
The forfeiting team will lose 3 points and be penalised 3 goals.
Forfeits must be requested before 3:00 pm on the day of the match day. This allows sufficient time to notify the opposing team and the appointed referee.
Penalties for Late Forfeits:
(a) Late Forfeit (after 3pm) Additional 2-point deduction
(b) No Notification / No Show: Additional 3-point deduction
-
Juniors
Players must be identified and updated in Dribl, and cannot be borrowed from a higher age group.
Juniors 5-7 years can borrow 2 eligible players to make a total of 4 players available to play the match.
Juniors 8-14 years can borrow 2 eligible players to make a total of 6 players available to play the match.
Seniors
The minimum number of players allowed to commence a match is four. These 4 players must be registered players for the team.
Teams are then able to borrow up to 2 eligible players to have a total of 6 players if they are short.
NO substitutes are permitted when a player or players are borrowed.
Players can be borrowed from one division higher, the same division or any lower division than the teams division.
Borrowed players must be identified and updated on the Dribl match sheet.
If additional team players arrive after the start of a match (i.e. arrive late) the borrowed player(s) must be interchanged off the field at the earliest opportunity and can then take no further part in the game.
-
There are unlimited interchanges. The player coming on must wait until the other player is off the field.
A change of goalkeeper (where applicable) is allowed at any time, but only after acknowledgment by the referee.
-
MVFC will supply Match Officials for all games.
Appointment of referees will be completed via Dribl.
-
In the event of wet weather Dribl will be updated and all registered users will receive an email notification.
Please check Facebook for updates.
