How to Join Summer Soccer at MVFC

  • 1. Register Online

    All players (junior and senior) must register via Dribl using the team code provided by their manager.

    Each player must complete their own registration in Dribl, using the Team Link Code provided by their team manager.

    If you don’t have a team, please go ahead and register — we will do our best to place you into a team.

    Active Kids Vouchers can be used during registration.

    ➤ All teams are required to complete a Team Nomination in Dribl at the time of registration.
    ➤ Each team must nominate a Team Manager.

How to Register your Team

  1. Log into Dribl as yourself, not your child.

  2. Under Registration Products, select Team Nomination.

  3. Add your Team Name.

  4. You may invite players immediately by entering their details, or wait until player registrations open and share your Team Link Code then.

  5. Complete any additional information requested and submit your registration.

Summer Soccer FAQs

  • Our MVFC Summer Soccer team is hard at work behind the scenes preparing for an exciting 2025–26 season.

    Registrations open 31st August 2025.

  • A players age group is determined by their age on 31 December 2025.  

    Minimum age for junior competition is 5 on 31 December 2025.

    Minimum age for the senior competition is 15 on 31 December 2025.

    All games are played at the Church Road Playing Fields.

  • Junior Girls - Tuesday 14th October 2025

    Junior Mixed - Wednesday 15th October 2025

    Senior Men’s - Monday 27th October 2025

    Senior Mixed - Monday 27th October 2025

    Senior Women's - Tuesday 28th October 2025

  • This season’s fees are as follows:

    U5-7 - $70
    U8-9 - $75
    U10-11 - $85
    U12-14 - $90
    U15-18 - $110

    Senior U19+ $140 (no early bird)

    Payment by credit card is required when you register online.

  • Juniors - 10 rounds

    Seniors - 16 rounds (including finals)

  • Juniors 5-7 years - minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 7 players per team

    Juniors 8-14 years- minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 11 players per team

    Seniors - minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 11.

  • The final composition of ALL teams, both junior and senior, is determined by the Junior and Senior Development Officers.

    Any special requests received will be taken into consideration. Please email summer@mvsc.org.au.

    All teams are required to complete a Team Nomination in Dribl at the time of registration.

  • You may register for two separate teams in separate competitions only, not separate divisions

    • Junior Girls for example can play in a girls team on Tuesday afternoon and a mixed team on Wednesday

    • Seniors can play in a Over Age Competition as well as a Division 1 - 5 Competition

  • Juniors 5 - 9 years

    • 4 v 4

    • 2 x 15 minute halves

    • 5 minute break at half time

    Juniors 10-14 years

    • 6 v 6

    • 2 x 20 minute halves

    • 5 minute break at half time

    Seniors

    • 6 v 6

    • 2 x 20 minute halves

    • 2 minute break at half time

  • Games take place during the week at the Church Road Playing Fields. Fixtures will be announced at the beginning of each week.

    Please ensure that you arrive on time.

    • Every effort should be made by teams to field a team each week

    • In the event that a team cannot field the minimum number of players, they may forfeit. Team Managers must submit a forfeit request through Dribl.

    • 3 competition points will be awarded to the opposing team.  

    • The forfeiting team will lose 3 points and be penalised 3 goals.

  • Juniors

    • Players must be identified and updated in Dribl, and cannot be borrowed from a higher age group and

    • Juniors 5-7 years can borrow 2 eligible players to make a total of 4 players available to play the match.

    • Juniors 8-14 years can borrow 2 eligible players to make a total of 6 players available to play the match.

    Seniors

    • The minimum number of players allowed to commence a match is four.  These 4 players must be registered players for the team.

    • Teams are then able to borrow up to 2 eligible players to have a total of 6 players if they are short.

    • NO substitutes are permitted when a player or players are borrowed.

    • Players can be borrowed from one division higher, the same division or any lower division than the teams division.

    Borrowed players must be identified and updated on the Dribl match sheet.

    If additional team players arrive after the start of a match (i.e. arrive late) the borrowed player(s) must be interchanged off the field at the earliest opportunity and can then take no further part in the game. 

    • There are unlimited interchanges. The player coming on must wait until the other player is off the field.

    • A change of goalkeeper (where applicable) is allowed at any time, but only after acknowledgment by the referee.

    • Whilst MVFC try to supply referees for all games, each team must nominate a duty referee in the event that there are not enough "pool" referees available.

    • Appointment of duty referees will be included on the draw issued for each weeks games.

    • For juniors it is required that the referee (including duty referees) must be at least  2 years older than the age group playing.

  • In the event of wet weather Dribl will be updated and all registered users will receive an email notification.

    • Suitable footwear is required to play.  Boots with moulded studs or runners are allowed. Metal cleats or screw-ins will not be allowed.  Players wearing these will be asked to leave the field.

    • Shin pads are compulsory. Players not wearing them will be asked to leave the field.

    • Simple t-shirts of the same colour is all that is required for a team strip.  Where applicable, a distinguishing goalkeepers shirt or bib is essential.  Club shirts are acceptable.

    • Teams cannot wear fluoro yellow or orange shirts as these are the colours worn by the match officials.

    • Goals/nets will be provided for all games.

    • Balls will be provided for all games.
